1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse grill/griddle, probe, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
2. If the power cord is damaged, the manufacturer or qualified electrician must replace it in order to avoid hazard.
3. Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area. For household use only. Do not leave the Grill/Griddle unattended.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children. This Grill/Griddle is not for use by
children.
5. Do not operate the Grill/Griddle with a damaged power cord or plug or after it has malfunctioned or is dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return the Grill/Griddle to the warranty center for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
6. Do not use any other temperature probe other than what is provided by the manufacturer.
7. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot surface.
8. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
9. Do not place on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
10. Always attach the temperature probe to the Grill/Griddle before plugging cord into the wall outlet.
11. To disconnect, turn the temperature probe knob to “O” OFF, then remove the plug from the wall outlet. Never leave the
Grill/Griddle connected to the power outlet when not in use or when cleaning.
12. Do not clean the Grill/Griddle with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off from the pad and touch electrical parts,
creating a risk of electrical shock.
13. Caution should be taken when handling this Grill/Griddle during and immediately after cooking. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Always use handles.
14. Do not move this Grill/Griddle when in use.
15. When in use, keep the Grill/Griddle a minimum of 10-12 inches away from walls and do not use under any overhand such
as a cupboard. Place on a stable, horizontal, heat resistant surface in a well ventilated area. The temperature of nearby
surfaces may become hot when the Grill/Griddle is operating.
16. For life-long performance of the Grill/Griddle, avoid dropping anything on the heating element.
17. Use only suitable utensils for non-stick surfaces to avoid scratching the surface.
18. ALWAYS ALLOW THE GRILL/GRIDDLE TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE CLEANING. Remove the temperature probe
before cleaning.
